Have you had a chance to try it out? That's the only way to know.Water Rocket Expert wrote:IS the one I got good?

Plastic won't wear it down. Just keep it in a case and you'll be good.Water Rocket Expert wrote:Yes but will it where down quickly. It has a Titanium Nidride coating.

Good. Do I really have to keep it in a case. Shouldn't my tool box be fine?

Cutting instruments should be protected from being banged against by other steel tools. Don't have to of course.Water Rocket Expert wrote:Good. Do I really have to keep it in a case. Shouldn't my tool box be fine?

Re: Boring out Tornado Tubes
Hello Spaceman Spiff,
I had the same problem as you, here is how we enlarge the diameter of our tornado tubes to around 18mm.
We use a step drill piece and then file away the small grove left. This gives a nice clear edge to the inside of the Tornado tube:
Here shows the drill peice and couplings for size.
Here shows a comparison with the original and the widen Tornado Tubes.
I use a 15mm Launch Tube so 18mm gives enough room for the water to pass through the rocket when filling from the top.
Hope that helps!

Re: Boring out Tornado Tubes
Sorry folks,
I forgot that I already posted this earlier on in the debate!!
I just added in the bit about filing out the small grove.
