Interstellar
Hey there,
what are you thinking about the movie "Interstellar" from Christopher Nolan?
I watched the movie about two weeks ago, and it was just awesome.
Do you think this could happen in far future?

Re: Interstellar
It looks promising, but with the holidays coming and a brief warm period with light winds, we got busy trying to conduct a few launch experiments before the snow falls. There has not been much time for movies because of all the activity. The effects in the movie look amazing.RaketfuedRockets wrote:Hey there,

Yeah, we're very busy too.
Right now the 4th part of our tutorial series is rendering and I am learning french vocabulary for a test tomorrow.
Tim works hard in his apprenticeship, and Christopher has exams this year so our whole team has no much time to do new stuff.
That's the reason why we started the production of the series in the summer holidays (september).
Since I'm the web-guy which carries about the YouTube, Facebook and Forumaccount as well as the website I have pretty much to do.
I visited the film together with Christopher after a day full of filming for the 4th part.
Cheers
Julian

Went and saw the movie yesterday with the kids. Loved it except for the sound track. 30min stretches of full volume does not make the movie better.

Re: Interstellar
I really liked the soundtrack of Interstellar, Hans Zimmer is just one of the best film composers.
But yes....maybe it's a bit to much ;)

What did you guys think of the new "Star Wars" Teaser?
(Maybe this deserves a new topic)

I love it, i think Abrams does a great job.U.S. Water Rockets wrote:What did you guys think of the new "Star Wars" Teaser?
I was feared that Disney would make it more fitting for young children, but the Teaser looks dark and great.
The only thing I don't like is the lightsaber of the sith, but that's not a big issue for me.
Cheers

The silly R2 unit with the sphere below was dumb. Please let it not be another Jar-Jar Binks!RaketfuedRockets wrote:I love it, i think Abrams does a great job.U.S. Water Rockets wrote:What did you guys think of the new "Star Wars" Teaser?

The poorly design crossbar on the lightsaber perhaps is something useful when seen in context. If it is just a hand guard then it's more dangerous to the user than the opponent.

The teaser looked great though.

Great movie, in my opinion the best sci fi movie from recent days, just felt the earth scenes at the beginning of the movie too long and not spectacular, otherwise it would be perfect. Nevertheless enjoyed a lot.RaketfuedRockets wrote:Hey there,

They are so many details in the movie, it's simply spectacular.
