Certification

Post by Ginger »

Hi,

Can you please clarify what certification is needed for compressed air tank use? I cannot find any detail on how to obtain personal certification although I have used tanks for 15 years.
I do not mean the tank itself, that is obvious! :)

Thank you

The certification is two parts.

1. The tank itself needs a certification (compressed air tanks such as scuba tanks need periodic inspections in order for them to be filled at the filling station).

2. The person operating the tank also needs a certification (for example a certified scuba diver would have the proper training and certification to operate a scuba tank.

Using an air compressor to fill your rocket needs no certifications.
