anyone from Malaysia?

Post by ninja_iga »

admin: sorry, but i'm not sure exactly where this topic's supposed to be, so i'll open it here.

Anyone from Malaysia?

1) Stanley Tai
2) Khairul
3) Sam Gibbs? (that's really uncommon for a M'sian name)

anyways, the point of this is to get WRA2 members in the M'sian chapter to get together and launch and share ideas and have a blast (pardon the pun).

hell, i'll share my launcher for anyone who wants to launch together.

I am from Malaysia, started some research on water rockets 2 years ago in Multimedia University. Ultimate objective is to launch something as heavy as 350g to an altitude as high as possible.

This is Nicholas Lim from Malaysia.

And I am on my way to construct a water rocket for my final year project.
Will share my idea here later on..

Huh?

Are you speaking of a different type of PL Premium glue that's 3X stronger than the bog standard PL Premium we have been using for years?

hi guys,

PL Premium PU Construction Adhesive is impossible get here in M'sia.

i got mine from a friend who went to the States and had him go to Home Depot to buy.
if you guys can get together a small order of say, 10tubes, i might be able to arrange.

i tried Ace Hardware, even asking them to order it in, but assuming they do, it'll take 4-6months.
right now they sell the PL PU glues, but it's not suitable for PET (our use) anyway.

Is there a reason why you guys can't just go onto homedepot.com or acehardware.com and plunk a couple tubes into the shopping cart and "checkout" with them?

Homedepot.com & Acehardware.com only ships to US. Besides those two, I have tried a few more online stores, all of them which sell PL Premium Polyurethane Construction Adhesive do not ship to Malaysia.

hi Tim,

as wenjiun replied,

that's correct, been trying to buy online,
they dont:
ship outside the States
accept foreign Credit Cards

at least they were friendly and professional and prompt
